Kubernetes: A Year in Review 2015

David O'Dwyer | 18 December 2015

It's sometimes easy to forget how quickly Kubernetes moves when you're working with it on a daily basis. A whole year passed in a flash!

As the holidays draw near, we thought we'd take a look back at the the year of Kubernetes. The first half of the year saw the open source container management system go from beta builds through to its 1.0 release at OSCON, Portland in July. Both companies and individuals have kept contributing features - many were included in the latest 1.1 release, announced at the first Kubecon, San Francisco in November.

We've rolled some choice statistics into an infographic as our holiday gift! Season's greetings from all of us at LiveWyer - we can't wait to see where Kubernetes will go in 2016!
